Obsession: The Pretty Reckless

Unless you've been living under a rock, you've probably heard of a little show called Gossip Girl. While I'm not a huge fan of the show, I am a huge fan of one of the actresses on the show.
Taylor Momsen.
She's basically awesome.
Think like, baby Courtney Love.
Read: Awesome.
She's got killer rock-baby style; sort of a 90's grunge meets 21st century cool.

Her band, The Pretty Reckless, is on one of my crush playlists right now. I'm on vacation in St. Louis with my family, and I've literally been listening to the two songs of theirs that I own on repeat.

So go check it out and fall in love.

Love and plaid,
Luna

Obsession: Music

So I have these little lapses in sanity called obsessions, occasionally. And by occasionally I mean all the time. These obsessions are fleeting, harmless, and random. Today it's a song that I've listened to about fifty times in the past three hours.
I'm loving it hardcore, baby.
The song, lovelies? Ian Axel's This is the New Year. Good stuff, chickens. It's about a fresh start in the new year, and being a better you. And really, who doesn't want those things?
While it's not exactly the new year, it sort of feels like it in a way. It's the beginning of summer, which is like a pseudo-new year in that it's the beginning of a new season with no school and a lot more work.
Listen and Love, Chickens,
Luna
