Obsession: Music

So I have these little lapses in sanity called obsessions, occasionally. And by occasionally I mean all the time. These obsessions are fleeting, harmless, and random. Today it's a song that I've listened to about fifty times in the past three hours.
I'm loving it hardcore, baby.
The song, lovelies? Ian Axel's This is the New Year. Good stuff, chickens. It's about a fresh start in the new year, and being a better you. And really, who doesn't want those things?
While it's not exactly the new year, it sort of feels like it in a way. It's the beginning of summer, which is like a pseudo-new year in that it's the beginning of a new season with no school and a lot more work.
Listen and Love, Chickens,

One Country Evening

Jacket: Unknown find in my closet/Skirt: Forever 21/Shoes: Payless/Hair Accessory: Handmade

So this photo shoot was totally spontaneous, but I thought the pics turned out decent so I would make a little post. I haven't really done much with these first weeks out of school, but I'm happy and enjoying myself in my free time off of work. It makes me appreciate my life a bit more.
Me and Luna bought the same skirt when we were together for winter break if anyone is wondering why we both have it on in our latest posts. We both pull off totally different looks though.
Hopefully me and Luna can get up a combined post of both of us soon! I can't wait for it!

Until then...
Loves and Sunsets and Dandelion wishes,
Bella

Once Upon a Lazy Summer...

Shirt: Target
Necklace, Skirt: Forever 21
Shoes: Gordmans

So it's been fifty years since my last post. I definitely did not mean to take so long to sling something up into cyberspace. I've been very, VERY lazy since school has gotten over for summer break. My summer job doesn't start until Thursday, so I've been lazing about until there's actually something to do. I've done absolutely nothing. And when I say nothing I mean ABSOLUTELY nothing. Unfortunately my laziness has produced no new or exciting outfits, so I've decided to kick the manatee and just shove up a few old pictures I found on my laptop.
So there.
Love and chocolate,
Luna

Waking at Dust

Dress: Vintage
Shoes: found in my Mom's closet
Ring: Forever 21

Nothing beats coming home to one's entire collection of clothing. I was EXTREMELY excited about this, but the only problem for me was realizing I had so much clothing that I needed to part with a couple pieces. Hence my coming garage sale where I will finally bid "adieu" to some of my clothes so they can go to a new home. But when I was rummaging through everything I came across this delightful little number and I thought I would take a little break to document for you all. The dress I got a couple summers back at an old shop and I really enjoyed it because of the forest green flower pattern and the pleated section on the torso. I just matched it up with my "engagement" ring that I got at Forever and threw on some gold pumps. I sorta felt like a southern wife when I was wearing this. Summer is here at last and that means life will change from studying to working. ( A girl has to have a way to afford her desire to be fashionable)

The Finals Countdown...

shorts, shirt, belt/Forever 21 :: tights/Walgreens :: nail polish/Urban Outfitters

Well, it's been awhile since I've posted anything, eh?
I got these shorts at Forever 21 a few weeks ago, and they're super short. They kind of look like a skirt, and when I wore them to Sam's Club with my mom people kept staring at me; like the were trying to figure out if my shorts were going to fly up like a skirt would've. Oh well, I love the idea of flutter shorts. They kind of bring me back to the times I wore a skort as a kid. Skort: the mullet for your butt. Love it, embrace it, and wear a variation as a college student.
Speaking of college...
Finals are kicking my butt. For serious. I've only got FOUR left, though! How many of you have got finals this week or next? Aren't they horrid?
Love and strong, black coffee,
Luna
